Happy Cinco de Mayo. Excuse me, I shouldn’t mix languages. Buena Cinco de Mayo. Don’t worry, that will be all the Spanish until the end. My High School Spanish teacher gave me a “C” so my Spanish is average at best. Anyway, it is staff retreat day here at UNC Asheville. The one day we can wear shorts. Yeah! It used to be you went somewhere for a retreat but with budget cuts we will be on campus, but not in the office which is good.



It is also exam week, so no games this week. Baseball plays North Carolina A&T on Saturday. That is the only action all week. Of course Sunday is Mother’s Day. There are too many events in May. I have three family birthdays, Mother’s Day, Mexican Holidays, and Memorial Day. Then somebody always throws in a baseball tournament just to make sure I have no free time.



Oh well, I shouldn’t complain, at least I like all the things going on this month. I mean I love my family, my Mom, Dos Equis, Memorial Day, and baseball so it works out. Well, if you are celebrating be safe today and I will let you know how the retreat goes.
